It was a thrill to see the Lion's Mane sprouting its' first delicate tendrils after patiently keeping its' habitat moistened for 16 days.
The neighbouring oyster mushrooms were well on the way to having mature and edible fruit by this stage. It may have been the drop in temperature that triggered the fruiting, from an average of 19' to 17'? But it is worth the wait to see this beneficial and tasty fungus finally bearing fruit.
