WHAT IS LION MANE?
Hericium Erinaceus (also called lion’s mane mushroom, mountain-priest mushroom or bearded tooth fungus) is a delicious mushroom belonging to the tooth fungus group, it can be easily identified by its long spines often resembling coral. It can be eaten raw, added to cooking and also dried as health supplements.
TASTE
Lion’s Mane Mushrooms have a mild ‘seafood-like’ taste, but the flavour is enhanced when cooked. The taste and texture are quite similar to crab (it’s tender and stringy, with a juicy, chewy bite).
